Unseen War<\/em><\/a>\u00a0ist Teil der Serie\u00a0Exposing the Invisible<\/i> und untersucht die \u201cphysikalische, moralische, politische Unsichtbarkeit\u201d der US-Amerikanischen Drohnenangriffe auf pakistanischen Gebiet. Dazu werden AktivistInnen und JournalistInnen innerhalb und ausserhalb von Pakistan interviewt.<\/p>\n

Die Vorf\u00fchrung des Kurzfilms Unseen War<\/strong> erfolgt in englischer Sprache, die Diskussion in Deutsch, Englisch<\/em> oder gemischt, wie aus dem Publikum gew\u00fcnscht. <\/em>Im Anschluss gibt es Gelegenheit f\u00fcr Austausch und Diskussion, u.a. mit Ulf Treger und Thomas B\u00f6ker (Citydataexplosion<\/a>) und Norbert Schepers (RLS Bremen<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Exposing the Invisible<\/i> ist eine dreiteilige Reihe von Kurzfilmen der NGO Tactical Tech<\/a>, die die inspirierende und provozierende Arbeit von K\u00fcnstlerInnen, HackerInnen und AktivistInnen portraitieren, welche mit einer Kollektion von digitalen Rechercheinstrumenten das entlarven, was vor uns verborgen wurde. Die Reihe schl\u00e4gt einen Bogen vom Vereinigten K\u00f6nigreich, \u00fcber den Libanon und Israel zum Drohnenkrieg im Nordwesten Pakistans. Wie wird mit Daten und deren Visualisierung gearbeitet? Wie sch\u00fctzen die AktivistInnen sich bei ihren Nachforschungen? Mehr unter\u00a0exposingtheinvisible.org<\/a><\/p>\n

Die komplette Reihe<\/strong> Exposing the Invisible<\/i> wird an zwei Abenden Ende M\u00e4rz 2014 im Rahmen des rli jour fixe<\/a> gezeigt.<\/p>\n

Unseen War<\/em><\/a> explores the physical, moral and political invisibility of US drone strikes in Pakistan. Journalists, activists and experts inside and outside of Pakistan are speaking about the consequences of the strikes in the tribal FATA region, whey they are possible, and how we can make the issue more visible using data and visualisation tactics.
\n<\/i><\/p>\n

The Screening of the short film Unseen War<\/strong> will be held in\u00a0English language, discussion in German,\u00a0English<\/em> or\u00a0mixed, as\u00a0desired by the audience. <\/em>After the screening of the movie will be room for debate, with Ulf Treger and Thomas B\u00f6ker (Citydataexplosion<\/a>)\u00a0and Norbert Schepers (RLS Bremen<\/a>) and others.<\/p>\n

Exposing the Invisible<\/i> is Tactical Tech<\/a>’s 3-part series of short films examining some of the most inspiring and provocative investigative cases, those that go further than traditional journalistic investigations. We spoke to hackers, activists and investigators from the UK, to Lebanon, Israel and Pakistan to find how they work with evidence, data and visualisation. After watching each film, you can find out more about the tools and tactics used by the protagonists to expose the hidden layers behind problems in their societies. Each film comes with extensive interviews telling the story of each activist or investigator, divided into thematic chapters, as well as a bank of resources<\/a> to help you follow in their footsteps.
